We're excited to announce that CloudCenmax is now natively integrated with MaxPlane. If you use both platforms, your workflow just got a whole lot simpler. And if you're a MaxPlane user who's been looking for reliable, affordable infrastructure to pair with it, this is a great time to take a look at CloudCenmax.
Here's what's new.
Object Storage, Right Inside MaxPlane
CloudCenmax object storage can now be connected directly from within MaxPlane. No copying access keys between dashboards, no juggling endpoints, no guesswork.
Once connected, you can set up CloudCenmax buckets as backup destinations for your servers and applications in just a few clicks. Your scheduled backups flow straight into your CloudCenmax storage, and restoring from them is just as straightforward. Everything happens inside MaxPlane, so you configure it once and forget about it.
For teams that treat backups as non-negotiable (which should be every team), this removes one of the most tedious parts of the setup process.
Purchase and Deploy Servers Without Leaving MaxPlane
The second big improvement is in the Add Server flow. You can now purchase and provision a CloudCenmax server directly from MaxPlane while adding a new server.
Previously, you'd head over to CloudCenmax, pick a plan, deploy the server, wait for it to come online, grab the credentials, and then come back to MaxPlane to connect it. Now that entire journey happens in one place. Choose your server configuration, complete the purchase, and MaxPlane takes it from there. Your new server shows up ready to be managed, with no manual handoff in between.
From "I need a new server" to "my app is deployed on it" is now a single, uninterrupted flow.
Still Platform-Agnostic, Always
Here's the part we want to be absolutely clear about: MaxPlane remains a fully platform-agnostic service.
You can continue to use any S3-compatible bucket as a backup destination, whether that's AWS S3, Backblaze, Wasabi, or anything else that speaks the S3 protocol. And you can continue to connect VMs from any provider you like, whether that's DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, AWS, or a server sitting in your own rack.
Nothing about that changes. Nothing is being locked down, and nothing is being pushed on you.
What this integration does is remove friction for those who already use, or want to use, both products together. Think of it as our product lines finally talking to each other properly. CloudCenmax and MaxPlane are built by the same team, and it only makes sense that they should work together seamlessly out of the box, while still playing nicely with everyone else.
Why This Matters
Modern server management involves a lot of moving parts: provisioning, deployment, backups, restores, monitoring. Every context switch between dashboards is a small tax on your time and attention. Individually they seem minor. Added up over weeks and months, they're real overhead.
This integration is part of a larger effort to make the workflow between our product lines feel unified and effortless. You get the convenience of a tightly connected ecosystem when you want it, and the freedom of an open, provider-neutral platform when you need it. We think that combination, convenience without lock-in, is exactly how infrastructure tooling should work.
Getting Started
If you're an existing CloudCenmax customer, head to your MaxPlane dashboard and you'll find CloudCenmax available as a connected provider. Link your account, and both object storage and server provisioning become available immediately.
If you're new to CloudCenmax, you can explore available server plans and object storage options directly from within MaxPlane the next time you add a server or configure a backup destination.
